Love Food Hate Waste Survey

M·E·L Research have been commissioned by Leicestershire County Council to carry out a survey amongst local residents to gain awareness levels form residents about Food waste.

As part of this process, they will be carrying out door to door survey interviews across the 7 districts of the county from 16th August to 5th September when we are interviewing 1,100 residents who live in the area. There will be a group of interviewers carrying out these interviews in the county

Missing boy found safe and well

A 14-year-old boy from Leicester who has been missing since Saturday July 12 has been found safe and well.

Martin Mangan was found in Lincoln last night by police. He has been returned to his home in Leicester.

Police and Social Services would like to thank the media and members of the public for their assistance in the search for Martin.

Roads identified by members of the community as hotspots for speeding motorists will be targeted by police as part of a week long crackdown.

Leicestershire Constabulary is taking part in a European-wide Speed Enforcement Campaign from Monday August 18 to Sunday August 24.
